I graduated from Ball State University in 2011 with a BFA in Ceramics and a BS in All-Grade Visual Arts Education.  I was fortunate to get to teach high school art for a handful of years before transitioning into my current career path.  I get to wear various hats at the American Art Clay Company; I ensure the quality of all of our brent equipment, I repair brent wheels and AMACO kilns (current models and those dating back to the 70’s), and support the educational outreach department traveling to teach workshops. I am thoroughly enjoying living a ceramic-centered life full of adventures and non-stop learning.

Vessels With Voids

My current body of work where I seek the tension and energy the negative space creates in each piece, and to create undulating surfaces capable of showcasing the wonderful variety of wood fired surfaces.
